Privacy Policy

Liftoff has no servers. We collect nothing. All data stays in your browser, under your control.

The Liftoff Chrome extension stores the following in your browser via chrome.storage.local:

• Your default tone, max length, and optional sign-off.
• Your Pro license key, if you have one.
• A log of notes you have asked Liftoff to mark as sent. Each entry contains: the recipient's name and headline, their profile URL, a 120-character preview of the note, the tone selected, and a timestamp.

This data never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time from the popup (“Clear log”) or by removing the extension.

When you click “Generate,” the following is sent to Liftoff's servers to produce a draft:

• The recipient's name, headline, company, location, and About section — only what is already visible on the profile page you have open.
• An optional context note you typed.
• Your selected tone.
• Your license key or free usage count (to verify access).

This data is used solely to generate your note and is not stored, logged, or shared. The AI model used is provided by Anthropic. Their privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

If you purchase a Pro subscription, your email address and payment details are handled by Stripe. Liftoff stores your email and license key in order to deliver your key and manage your subscription. We do not store payment card details.

• No analytics or telemetry.
• No crash reports.
• No third-party data sharing or selling.
• No background scraping — Liftoff only reads a profile when you open the panel on a page you are already viewing.

• Clear the message log at any time from the popup.
• Cancel your Pro subscription at any time — your key remains active until the end of the billing period.
• Uninstall the extension to remove all locally stored data.

Liftoff is not intended for users under 13.

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change.
